1. Overview

AISave is a Chrome extension that helps you organize, search, and export your AI conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your conversation content
• We do not collect personal information (name, email, address)
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or telemetry
• We do not transmit any data to our servers or any third-party servers
• We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way
• We do not use cookies for tracking purposes

3. Data Stored Locally

AISave stores all data locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage APIs:

• chrome.storage.local — Stores your folders, tags, ratings, settings, prompt library, and license information
• IndexedDB — Caches conversation metadata (titles, dates, platforms) for search and organization purposes

This data never leaves your browser. It is not accessible to us or anyone else. If you uninstall the extension, all locally stored data is automatically deleted by Chrome.

4. Permissions We Request

AISave requests the following Chrome permissions, each with a specific purpose:

• storage — Save your folders, settings, and preferences locally
• activeTab — Access the current tab to read conversation data from AI platforms
• tabs — Detect which AI platform tabs are open for conversation syncing
• sidePanel — Display the AISave interface as a side panel
• alarms — Schedule automatic backup syncs (every 30 minutes)
• downloads — Enable file downloads when you export conversations

5. Host Permissions

AISave requests access to the following websites:

• chatgpt.com / chat.openai.com — Read your ChatGPT conversation list and content
• claude.ai — Read your Claude conversation list and content
• gemini.google.com — Read your Gemini conversation list and content

These permissions are used solely to fetch your conversation data for organization and export. No data is sent anywhere — it goes directly from the AI platform to your local browser storage.

6. Third-Party Services

AISave uses LemonSqueezy as a payment processor for Pro subscriptions. When you choose to upgrade to Pro:

• You are redirected to LemonSqueezy's checkout page
• Payment information is handled entirely by LemonSqueezy — we never see your credit card details
• LemonSqueezy's privacy policy applies to payment transactions: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy
• The only data exchanged is a license key to verify your Pro status

7. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally in your browser:

• Your data is protected by Chrome's built-in security model
• No server-side breaches can affect your AISave data
• You have full control over your data at all times
• You can export a backup (JSON file) and import it on another device

8. Children's Privacy

AISave is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension's update notes.
